Projects and series
Narciso’s projects begin with lived material: family photographs, daily rituals, Brazilian symbols and images encountered online. Painting gives these sources a new physical presence, while digital circulation extends their life beyond the studio.
Created through the discipline of painting every day, this series follows change as a gradual, lived experience. Each small canvas holds a different arrangement of flowers, vessels and color, while the handwritten diary on its reverse preserves the day in which it was made.

A system of self-imposed rules becomes a field for improvisation. Geometric vessels, flowers and saturated planes are assembled without repeating colors across adjacent forms, translating the logic of digital design into fifteen singular physical paintings.

Built from a family photograph of Narciso’s father and aunt as children, the series considers inheritance, absence and the unreliable architecture of memory. Pixels, repetition and transparent passages interrupt the image, making distance visible inside the family archive.

One hundred individually drawn characters shaped by internet humor, awkwardness and human detail. The project brings the looseness of Narciso’s sketchbook into a native on-chain collection, allowing comedy and imperfection to become a shared visual language.

The bull returns throughout Narciso’s practice as a figure of power, fear, celebration and protection. Rooted in memories of Brazilian popular culture, the recurring animal moves between sacred and ordinary life, carrying the tension of a body that can be both restrained and uncontrollable.

About
Born in Belo Horizonte in 1996 and raised in a family of artists, Narciso learned to understand images as vessels for memory, emotion and lived experience. His father and grandfather were painters, and art always held a place on the family walls.
His first solo exhibition took place at Galeria Savta in Brasília in 2021. His work has since appeared in exhibitions and projects in Seoul, Milan and New York, as well as on platforms including SuperRare and NINFA.
