ABOUT ME

José is a Brazilian visual artist exploring emotion through painting, symbolism, abstraction, and digital culture. His work is deeply influenced by memories of growing up near the rainforest, surrounded by animals, silence, and unstable landscapes.

He creates images that balance humor, tension, fragility, and criticism using minimal but emotionally charged elements. Between organic forms and artificial systems, his paintings often feel like fragments of thoughts, emotional glitches, or memories trying to survive inside contemporary life.

His process moves between instinct and control. Some pieces emerge from repetition and limitation, others from emotional states, daily rituals, or visual accidents. He is interested in how feelings reshape perception and how technology changes the way people experience nature, identity, and themselves.

Through painting, drawing, and digital experimentation, he creates visual spaces where irony and vulnerability can exist together.
